Help your little learners with essential scissors skills practice with these adorable NO PREP “ Santa’s beard trace and cut” worksheets.
This resource is age appropriate, fun and engaging! It helps develop scissor skills and improves fine motor, eye-hand coordination, critical thinking and more!
This set includes 5 color and 5 black and white images for a total of 10 worksheets.
•Colors included are: red, green, turquoise, pink and yellow.
Your little learners will have lots of fun with cutting straight, waved and zig-zag lines to develop their fine motor skills!
Use these easy to follow directions to model the activity to your class, so the children will know what to expect:
• Trace every stripe from the top.
• Cut Santa's beard along the dotted lines starting at the bottom.
• Use a pencil to curl the end of each strip, all the way to the top.
• Hold it there for a few seconds and then uncurl the paper.
• Continue with each strip, until Santa’s beard is all curled.
You can also turn this into a Santa mask by punching a hole on both sides of Santa’s face and securing it with a string or elastic cord.
If you want to use these pages multiple times, laminate them for durability, and have your class use them as tracing practice or play-dough mats!
