Description

Santa needs a trim!
Santa’s Christmas Countdown is fun and builds fine motor skills, number recognition and can include patterning!

Students will build fine motor and cutting skills by cutting along one line on Santa’s beard each day until Christmas Eve.

Differentiate by having students create teacher directed patterns (ABA ABB ABC) based on individual students needs and abilities on Santa’s beard.

I wrote a cute original poem to attach to the back:

Santa’s beard is very long.
It won’t be long until it’s gone.
So get your scissors and snip, snip, snip.
One line each day. Clip, clip, clip.
When his beard is trimmed just right.
Santa will come that very night!
