This was perfect for a 100th day of school activity. The students loved it and it went with our superhero theme.

Description

These mystery picture activities are great for math center, teaching number sense in small groups, homework, 100 days of schools, morning work or fast finisher. There are different levels of complexity (6 activities) :

Two 100 charts (count to 1 to 100)

Two 200 charts (count to 100 to 200)

Two 300 charts (count to 200 to 300).

This activity is perfect for MATH CENTERS and it is aligned with common core. If you want your students to master math, these activities help them to work with numbers, to count and to understand ones, tens and hundreds.

There are 3 work pages for differentiation for each picture to meet the different needs of students:

1. A typical 100-200-300 chart with all numbers labeled.

2. A 100-200-300 chart with only some numbers labeled.

3. A blank 100-200-300 chart with almost no numbers labeled

This activity is a fun and engaging way to practice numbers (100-300). There are two packages, one in Spanish, another in English, perfect for your ESOL students and to practice colors in Spanish.

Answer sheets are included in both languages.

This activity is aligned with these standars:

MAFS.1.NBT.1.1 Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a writte.

MAFS.1.NBT.2.2 Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.

MAFS.1.NBT.3.5 Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count; explain the reasoning used.

Also, it will help your students to add and subtract fluently.

Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
Count within 1000; skip-count by 5s, 10s, and 100s.
Read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
