Description
★Digital Interactive Resource★
Go paperless with this interactive resource for Google Slides™ that will help your chemistry students master 1, 2, & 3 step stoichiometry problems. Students will drag movable objects and type to enter information as they solve each problem. The resource walks students through each step to go from introduction to mastery of this very challenging chemistry topic. Includes a detailed Teacher Answer Key, One Page Answer Key Summary, and an optional student recording sheet.
✨Works great for In-person, Distance, or Hybrid Learning!✨
Slides can be added, deleted, or rearranged. By using balanced equations and conversion factors that are already part of this resource, you could also create additional problems by copying, then revising existing slides.
For each Stoichiometry Problem, students will...
*identify the given and unknown units
*determine the number and order of conversion steps
*choose the correct conversion factors
*calculate and round the answer
This Google Slides resource includes a video demonstration of a sample problem being solved, and a practice problem for students to complete.
★INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE★
✅Detailed Directions for Downloading and Assigning the activity
✅18 Slides with various Multi-Step Stoichiometry Problems (13 total)
*includes Video Demonstration & Practice Problem with solution
✅2 Limiting Reactant Mass to Mass Problems with Student Tips
✅Detailed Teacher Answer Key for Each Slide
✅1 Page Teacher Answer Key Summary

Technology Required!
***Students must have internet devices capable of using Google Slides™. This resource will work on any device that can access and use Google Slides. Google Classroom™ allows you to easily assign students their own copy with just a few mouse clicks (instructions included). This resource is no prep if you already have Google Drive or Google Classroom™ set up.
⚡Will this work in my School's Learning Management System?
If you are able to use Google Slides in your current LMS, you can use this resource with your students as well. Your students will need Gmail Accounts (GSuite for Education is free for schools). You can download this freebie to do a test run if you'd like.
In addition to Google Classroom, I have also easily used this resource in Schoology and Canvas. Although you don't have to assign them this way in Canvas, the Google Assignments External Tool 1.3 in Canvas does a great job of connecting Google Slides/Docs:
