Description
This STEM science and engineering challenge will challenge students about water tension. Students will conduct science experiments to introduce themselves to the concept of water tension and how heavy objects can be made to look like they are floating. Recording sheets are provided for students to write their observations and conclusions on. For the advanced students, extension questions are provided to extend their knowledge. Also included is a technology challenge.
This pack contains everything you need (except paper clips). All you need to do is print it off and you are up and running. It can be used as either a group activity or an individual. I usually do it as a group as then you can allocate members various roles within the group.
Included are instructions, templates and an extension question sheet. As a bonus, I have also included a STEM Poster.
