  • Measure bridge beam lengths
  • A Load Zone Bridge Puzzle
  • Finding the Area of a Bridge
  • Drawing a Cool Beautiful Bridge across North River
  • and More!

MODULE 3 - PROJECTS

This module has (4) different types of cool bridges projects.

1. Paper Bridge Project - Students will cut out various bridge items and use them to build a paper bridge over North Creek.

2. Turtle Creek Bridge Project - Students will measure bridge items and calculate costs for a new bridge over Turtle Creek

3. Rock City Bridge Activity - Students will have the opportunity to use critical thinking to determine which bridges to build for Rock City. There are 6 locations needing a bridge, but which locations are best for traffic, safety, and the environment.

4. Bridge Beam and Column Design - Students will put on their engineering hat and calculate weight and design the optimum beams and columns for the new Trail Bridge in beautiful Turtle Park.
