As a STEM coordinator, I am always looking for creative ways for teachers to integrate STEM engineering and design challenges into their classroom activities. I decided to work on creating STEM Engineering Challenge Packs for some beloved picture books.
This STEM Challenge Pack is based on the book, "The Polar Express", by Chris Van Allsburg. There are five challenges included in this pack:
Make a Bell Challenge
Gravity Sleigh Challenge
Train Bridge Challenge
Create a Toy Challenge
Build a Paper Box Challenge
These STEM engineering and design challenges will bring the book to life in your classroom!
