If your students are like mine, they will love this project because they will take a walk through the shoes of a grown up.
The purpose of this project is to get your students to make a connection between choosing a career and making real life money decisions. This is an embedded interactive pdf file that the students can link to other websites and type on. This will help them to understand how taxes,food, shelter, and other living expenses play a role into career decisions. This is a good beginning of the year project to get students focused on being serious about connecting learning with future career choices.
Please note that this project is part two of career project. It goes with the STEM Career Outlook Research Assignment in my TPT store
For an extension activity, you may want your students to do a presentation or video about how they would design their life.
