Looking for a project that puts the "A for ART" into STEAM? This outer space painting lesson explores how artists can render the celestial colors, interactions of light, and dimensionality in outer space.


PURCHASE DETAILS: This item includes a 24 slide digital instructional presentation formatted (.pptx and .pdf) suitable for Mac and PC. The slideshow presentation features:

(1) a brief intro with key terminology (gradient, relief art)

(2) detailed, clear step by step directions with photos of how to render an outer space painting

(3) project specific grading rubric

WHAT MATERIALS ARE NEEDED?

The recommended tools include canvas/paint surface, paint, and paint brushes. *Optional, but recommended* To add a 3d relief element to this project, artists can sculpt the planet out of Model Magic clay.
