Upper Elementary GATE – Very Challenging!

As a STEAM teacher, you don’t want your math to be the regular math class stuff . . . and these units will not be! They’re very hands on, full of critical thinking, and full of real world math. Your STEAM kids will be designing and solving problems, stretching their creativity to other areas of the curriculum, completing graphic design and 3D projects, and engineering.

Warning here: we are pretty much old school geometry, drafting with compasses, protractors, and T-squares here at Portable Gifted and Talented. We’re as much “art” as “engineer.” Portions of these units may be adapted to tech/computer drawing and designing. That’s up to you--the expert--STEAM teacher.
