The Texas Education Agency redesigned the STAAR Language Arts test starting in 2023, and it has tweaked it a bit more for the upcoming 2024 STAAR test. Yet the TEA has offered very few examples for teachers to practice with their students.
This Bundle offers the following:
Two Reading test practices, with new-type questions, complete with key. One of the practices has a paired passage, adding up to three total passages. One of the passages is a completely original passage; the other one is a reprinted released STAAR passage from 2021, but with completely new questions. Each one contains either a Short Constructed Response, or an Extended Constructed Response. Answer keys are included, along with suggested examples for the Constructed Responses.
One Revise-and-Edit original passage with new-type questions, including a short Constructed Response.
An explanation of short and extended Constructive Responses, written in clear-easy-to-understand language, as a guide for 7-th grade teacher. This contains answers to commonly-asked questions, and suggestions for teaching your students how to score highly on this type of writing.
