Common Core Standards: CC.2.MD.7
This Smartboard activity introduces the clock and the different parts of the clock. It begins with telling time to the hour, progresses to half hour, quarter hour, and then to the 5 minute. AM and PM are also then introduced.
It provides multiple slides for students to practice telling time by both drawing hands on an analog clock, and reading the time and writing it in digital form.
Word problems are also included at the end.
The slides can be printed out to use as quick assessment, a center, or allow students to follow along with the work being done at the smartboard.
