Description

*SET 1!

PRINTABLE Dramatic play recipe cards that have been simplified and visually represented for kids! These were made by me using clip art from some amazing designers here on Etsy (see my last photo for shop credit). The recipes are made up but are roughly based on actual recipes of the items. Quantities were kept to simple numbers to aid in number recognition and counting while introducing basic fractions. Measuring cup sizes were kept to 1 cup or ½ cup and measuring spoon sizes were kept to 1 Tbsp and 1 Tsp. With younger children you could use size vocabulary such as big cup and small cup or big spoon and small spoon.

You will receive a INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF DIGITAL version of 20 double sided recipe cards. The front side of the card includes the ingredients needed and the back shows the simplified directions. Please see my other photos for what recipes are included, what foods I used, and what baking tools are used. Keep in mind you may not have all these items and can pretend, replace, or skip the recipe entirely. I tried to include items found in most pretend kitchens, but also included a few items that aren’t. For extra durability you could laminate them on your own also.

Recipes Included: Chocolate Chip Cookies, Sugar Cookies, Brownies, Carrot Cake, Rainbow Cake, Chocolate Cake, Key Lime Pie, Berry Pie, Apple Pie, Waffles, Blueberry Muffins, Banana Walnut Muffins, Strawberry Ice Cream, Chocolate Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream, Vegetable Soup, Garden Salad, Guacamole, Tropical Smoothie, and Melon Smoothie.

TO PRINT: Make sure your printer can do double sided. I suggest using a thicker sheet of card stock. Click "portrait style," click "multiple" or 2 pages per sheet, click double-sided, & print pages 1-40.

Size: 4in x 6in and fits in a standard recipe box (no box is provided). Alternatively, you can hole punch the cards and put them on a ring.

Depending on the amount of support, suggested ages are 3+. These were made with my preschooler in mind as she learns letter recognition, letter sounds, number recognition, basic fractions, and sequencing. I hope your little one enjoys them as much as mine does! I would love to hear if you have any ideas for future recipe cards if I decide to make another set.

You may not sell, redistribute, or share the files you purchase. These are for personal use only. Please see my shop for SET 2. Thank you for looking!
