This NO PREP project is an excellent way to integrate social studies with language arts. Samuel Houston's drawing is 17 inches long. Students color, cut, and paste the drawing of him. Also, they fill in the blank to complete the sentences with Houston's life and legacy events. Then, they cut and paste them in chronological order on the back of the Sam picture and, fold the picture to paste it in their journal.
