Rural, Urban, Suburban Task Cards - A Community Unit Suppliment

These 64 task cards with rural, urban and suburban clip art & real photographs will engage your students while learning about the community around them! A great supplement to your social studies unit on the community! This is a printable set, in PDF format.

This is a set of task cards that focuses only on rural, urban and suburban communities and recognizing the differences. The set can be used in a variety of ways. They can be spread around the room, to play scoot. They can be placed at a center. They could be used as flash cards, for partner play. There are both clip art pictures and real photographs used in the set. There are a total of 64 task cards. Also included are two different recording sheets. One recording sheet for the answers to 24 random cards, and another for recording answers for all 64 cards. An answer key is also provided. Cut out and laminate for long term use.

NOTE: This set of task cards is an expanded set, of the one I included in my “Communities - Urban, Suburban and Rural Pack”. That product is a much more comprehensive pack. Although, 36 of the task cards are the same as these, the others are used in a sorting center activity. There are also posters, several other worksheets, and activities in the other unit.
