Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright is a wonderful story for your literacy lesson plans in the winter season.  It is an entertaining story about a snowman who wants to warm up, but he keeps on melting! This unit encompasses everything you need for a week of Reading instruction (Comprehension, Nonfiction Connection, and Vocabulary).
