Roomstyler Tutorial Webquest [Interior Design, FACS, FCS]

If you're looking for an editable hands-on design approach for your interior design course, look no further! Roomstyler is a phenomenal (free) site that has designers start from scratch! They have to create their own floor plans and ultimately their own beautiful designs!

Students will get to see their designs in 3D!

This Webquest helps students (and teachers) get acquainted by going step-by-step through some of the basics of using Roomstyler! Students will learn how to create walls, add paint/flooring/stonework, add doors, add windows, add beams, add a fireplace, add a rug, and add decor!

This tutorial webquest helps build students' confidence in their designing skills and helps them feel more comfortable with a new program!

This is a Google product so make sure to check your Google Drive for it after purchasing!

I used this in my own high school housing and interior design course, but this could also be used in a comprehensive Family and Consumer Sciences course!
