    Description

Four of our most popular Romeo and Juliet items: a detailed close reading and argument writing prompt, a video guide, an extensive project-based learning activity, and an engaging review.

We offer them as a bundle for the value price of $9.99. Individually, the lessons retail for $16.

Here are abbreviated product descriptions of each.

    • Practice with Analysis: The Party in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet
Students will close read the text examining the depictions of childhood and adolescence. After viewing and comparing three Romeo and Juliet film clips and a Westside Story clip if the Capulet Feast, students will analyze the text, and discuss the method Shakespeare uses to reveal innocence, a sense of wonder, tribulation, and terror. A Socratic Seminar completes the study.

    • Shakespeare Uncovered-Romeo & Juliet: Viewing Guide
Originally aired in the United States on PBS, actor Joseph Fiennes takes his audience through the original Italian story, Ballet, West Side Story and adult night classes at a South London school. This guide has 40 viewing questions in a fill-in-the-blank format that serves as notes to accompany the video. An answer key is provided.

    • Practice with PBL- Romeo and Juliet Directors Notebook with a Script
