More About This Product
With the Scavenger Hunt, the students complete it as part of a rotation during science or reading groups. I only have 4 or 5 students walking around with clipboards to locate the cards and write their answers. Students needing extra support can be paired with a partner for this activity. I have also done similar activities with the whole class or as a filler for early finishers, especially if you made the cards a little bit tricky to find. My students enjoy this activity.

This product features 9 digital task cards.
Each card has a picture of a different rock, 3 each igneous, 3 metamorphic, and 3 sedimentary. Students are asked to determine the new type of rock to be formed if a rock is subjected to melting and crystallization, heat and pressure, or weathering, erosion, and compaction. This is a click on the correct answer activity.
