Rocks and Minerals Observation Chart

This is a simple fill in chart for students as they are observing different rocks and minerals. I just started the 4th grade unit on Rocks and there are just so many possibilities.

Here they observe five different rocks with hand lenses and write in what they observe about each rock. On the second page, they can draw a picture of each rock and give a brief explanation of the differences and similarities.
