Description
If there is any word that confounds and confuses educators, it is the word, RIGOR. What is it, how is it infused into lessons, and how can I make sure my lessons are RIGOROUS? Defining the word is one thing, helping teachers and administrators to understand it and make sure it is a part of their lessons and classroom environment, is another. “Figuring Out and Implementing Rigor” is a series of three documents:
1. How we can add RIGOR to our lessons
2. A ‘Rubric on RIGOR’
3. ‘Checking to See If Your Lessons Are 'Rigorous' spreadsheet
“Figuring Out and Implementing Rigor” with its combination of each of the above three documents, is a valuable tool in helping teachers and administrators to better understand and use RIGOR in the classroom and in all of their lessons.
