Do you want your students to explore using trigonometry in the real world rather than just memorize for another test? This project is perfect for you!
Students will create a brochure where they will
- review the basics of trig ratios
- create a SOH CAH TOA diagram
- solve a missing side lengths problem
- solve a missing angle problem
- write their own problem using either trig or inverse trig
- reflect on the project and what they learned
There are 8 trigonometry problems and 8 inverse trigonometry problems included that you can either assign to your students, or let them pick from.
Since each student will have a different brochure, the temptation to cheat is diminished! Don't worry, a key is provided for all 16 problems along with an easy to follow rubric so grading is a breeze.
