Students will watch six popular romance or romantic comedy clips and put their rhetorical analysis skills to the test exploring the argument that the romantic hero/heroine uses to entice their love interest, win them back, or convince them of something. Students will explore six elements of rhetoric for each clip and then crown a winner for which clip contained the most nuanced or effective argument.
