Research and Write: Famous African Americans | Black History Month

Black History Month is the perfect time to have your students research a famous African American. This is a writing project focused on learning about the life of a famous African American and challenges they overcame.. It was designed with third grade students in mind, but is easily used or adapted for other grades, too.

This product guides students in their notetaking and provides a graphic organizer to plan their writing to summarize their learning.

This low prep resource includes a research note taking guide, and a graphic organizer for students to plan their writing. Just make the copies, and your students are ready to begin!
