Description
Research and Write: Biomes will guide your students through a mini research project on a biome of their choice. They will use their research to compose a five paragraph essay of their findings.
Students will research the climate, plants and animals of the biome, as well as explore how humans impact the biome. This activity fits well with Earth Day, a unit on biomes or ecosystems, or any other time you want to connect research and writing.
This low prep activity is a great way to address many reading and writing standards while learning about the biomes of the world.
This product guides students in their notetaking and provides a graphic organizer to plan their writing to summarize their learning.
This low prep resource includes a research note taking guide, and a graphic organizer for students to plan their writing. Just make the copies, and your students are ready to begin!
