Description
It can be challenging to find informational text that is appropriate for elementary kids! Making sure that all students are set up for success during these first experiences with research projects is so important.
This pack was created and used with my 3rd grade class. It includes research information for 30 different ocean animals. Each animal includes a description, eating habits, predators and defense mechanisms, life cycle and interesting facts. Pictures and fun facts break up the text and keep students engaged. Each passage is a double sided page. Check out the preview for a better look. These informational passages are just what you need to begin an ocean animal research project in your classroom!
