Reader's Theatre is always a hit in my classroom. This was a great way for me to review our science unit while incorporating drama and reading fluency. the kids had fun rehearsing and performing in front of the class.
Description
This product includes several activities to help your students gain understanding about the different between renewable and nonrenewable resources.
The reader's theater is a fun way to bring science, reading, and drama together. Students will learn the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources and how they power our homes and schools. Students will also hear the benefits and downsides to both resources, learn about alternative energy, and discover ways to conserve energy.
This pack also includes a debate and grading rubric where students will research and convince their school which energy source to use.
For fun, this pack includes an energy word search and crossword to help the new vocabulary stick.
