What educators are saying

My students love doing these task cards. I call it a "scavenger hunt" and they go around the room answering these questions.
Thanks! My students enjoyed using this resource to enhance their understanding. I enjoyed this resource because it complimented the hands-on learning activities I had done to prepare my students for formative and summative assessments. This resource is flexible for various types of learners.

Description

Are you looking for a fun way to review natural resources in your upper elementary science class? This task cards activity is great for reviewing concepts related to renewable and nonrenewable resources.

This low prep engaging activity is perfect for 4th grade, 5th grade, or 6th grade. It can be used for spiral review, early finishers, emergency sub plans, and much more.

These task cards come with optional QR codes that students can use to check their answers when they finish all of the task card questions. The file is set up so that you can either print the task cards one sided with no QR code, or you can print the task cards and corresponding QR code answers back to back.

Task cards can be used in a variety of ways. Get your students out of their seats and moving by hanging the task cards around the room. Want to differentiate? Use task cards in stations to get students collaborating with their peers. The possibilities are endless!

These task cards can be printed in color or black & white. Printing on cardstock and laminating is a great way to reuse them each year. Print one set to hang around the room or multiple sets so several students can use them at one time.

Want a no prep way to use task cards? Instead of cutting up the task cards after they are copied, have students use one sheet (4 cards) at a time. Don't spend time to cut the cards apart. Just print the task cards and student answer sheet, copy, and go. This is great for independent work or emergency sub plans.

Want a low prep way to use task cards? Print the task cards and answer sheet (in color or black & white), make copies of both, cut out the task cards, and go. If you want to use these year after year, laminate or use sheet protectors (if you don't plan on cutting them apart).
