This student workbook focuses on how the Black Death, the Crusades and trade led to the expansion of ideas and the start of the Renaissance. It has 14 pages that cover the Crusades, the Silk Road, and Italian City-States. How did trade and business expand in Renaissance Europe? How did trade with the East affect European Society? How did increased trade influence the growth of powerful city-states in Italy? The workbook looks at the impact trade had on society and how geography influenced the development of trade routs and cities. Learn about the Crusades influenced trade, the Silk Road, and how the class system started to change because of trade. Look at three powerful Italian City-States and what made them successful. It also includes how wealth started to change the social hierarchy and an introduction to the powerful Medici Family.
