Description

Teach your students about recycling using this illustrated open-ended activity sheet. Students can write or draw their ideas on how they can help with recycling in one section. Another area gives students a chance to "sort" trash into bins by drawing lines to the bin. There is also a space for students to draw or write what they can do to help recycle, great as an individual activity or as a group circle discussion. Lines included for vocabulary, writing, spelling, or whatever you decide. Coordinates with any states' classroom recycling lesson. Accompanies California Treasures, Reducing, Reusing and Recycling segment for second grade. Suitable for any lesson on recycling or environmental responsibility.
