Realism through Photo Journalism-Elementary/Middle School Grant

A $500.00 funded Social Studies Grant from the state of Louisiana.
- The major focus of this project is to motivate the students to become aggressively engaged in activities whereby they will utilize information learned in class along with their technological skills to create a community awareness campaign that will encourage positive changes for all citizens.

Project Goals:
1. To introduce students to their role as citizens in a democratic society
2. To show students that they are an important part of their community and that they do have a voice in a democratic society
3. To encourage students to become productive citizens by getting actively involved in making positive changes in the community in which they live.
