What educators are saying

The class loved this! I broke them into teams and assigned point values for each card. Every week the teams tried out a few more cards and I kept score. The students commented on how much they enjoyed and looked forward to it!
A fun morning work activity! Students enjoyed working together to find the mistake and got a kick out of some of the obvious ones. I good reminder to ALWAYS check your work!

Description

Identify and Correct Grammar Mistakes in Real World Fails. This 2nd set of proofreading task cards for real-world grammar mistakes is an excellent modern and engaging activity to have students take ownership of their learning and make connections to the world around them. In fact, these are all fun images I've spotted along the way somewhere or another!

These amusing images are ready to go in bright, attractive task card format, which gives you tons of flexibility for using these in class. Plenty of ideas are provided! The options are endless with this simple file! Use them for bell ringers, exit tickets or literacy centers! All subjects could get involved in the editing fun. Students love to spot errors in the unlikeliest places, and an activity like this gets them thinking, collaborating, and editing!

Included: 32 images of real-world mistakes in three easy-to-use formats so you can print them or use them virtually in Google share, Nearpod, Kahoot, Classflow, and more!

Classroom success stories from other teachers who have tried this resource:

♥ "These were great. My principal walked in while we were doing and liked them so much that he did them with us."

♥ "Who knew students could actually love bell work? I started using this in August with my 8th grade students; we're taking the month of November off for NaNoWriMo (no bell work in favor of writing time), and my students have asked for bell work! Thanks for creating a resource that students actually want to do."

♥ "These are a class favorite and we just had to have the second edition!"

♥ "My students love these! They are now searching for real world grammar fails in their own lives."
