Real Life Money Shopping Tasks including Rubric

This pack contains 10x Different real life shopping tasks where students can search through shopping catalogues with a purpose in mind to practise their skills. Each task comes with a marking rubric so students can clearly see expectations and moderate their own work level.

Students are asked to purchase items from shopping catalogues for their situation and then produce them into a poster/display.

It has been linked to the Australian Curriculum for years 2-5, however is more suited to years 3-5.

I have used these cards with several different class groups, each time I have streamed children and given more challenging tasks to more capable students. There are different challenging tasks withing the cards with students being asked to spend anywhere from $250 - $2000.

This package includes:
- List of things required
- Suggestions for where to get shopping catalogues
- Australian Curriculum Links for Years 2-5
- A5 size Task cards with Marking Rubric to give to students with the task
- Vocabulary List for word wall in classroom
