Description
This Wilson Reading Step 10 -- - Adding Suffixes to Changing Basewords for Google Classroom was created so that teachers and tutors could work with students remotely or in-person with everything in one place. It has slides for all 10 steps of a full Orton Gillingham program. It follows the Scope and Sequence for Wilson step 10
10.1 -- VCE exceptions: ice, ace, age, ate, ile, ite,
10.2 -- Spelling Rule: baseword ending in e + suffix {ex: taping}
10.3 -- Spelling Rule: 1 syllable, closed or r-controlled baseword + suffix {ex: starred or shopful}
10.4 -- Spelling Rule: double final consonant of multisyllabic baseword when adding suffix {ex: regretting, controlled}
10.5 -- Additional suffixes: ic, al, ible, ous, ist, ism, ity, ize, ary, ery
The sound drills, word cards, and sentences and stories are in one place and digital. I did not copy any sentence or story directly from the books but everything aligns.
The graphics used are photos so they are older and younger student-friendly.
I use these presentations when I tutor remotely and they are a huge time saver.
All you need is a google drive account and you are ready to go. You don't have to have a Google Classroom account.
