Reading Level Update: Helpful Letter for Parents

Most of us elementary teachers test our students' Reading Levels multiple times throughout the year. As they get older, we usually just tell the students their new reading level, perhaps put it somewhere on a form or in their portfolios, but many parents are not aware of what this new level means or even what their child's new independent level is!

Use this letter to send home to your parents after you test your student's reading level! This keeps parents informed of WHAT the level means, HOW to help them, and WHY they are on this level!
