    108 Reading Passages for ALL the holidays!

    - This ready-to-use mega collection of 19 holiday reading packages is perfect at any time of the year when you want to motivate reluctant readers, encourage reading fluency and comprehension, and learn about the holidays. Included in the bundle is a variety of 108 multi-cultural reading passages that include informational text passages, poems, fables, news stories and more. Each reading passage is followed by a page of multiple choice questions giving students practice referring back to evidence from the text to support their answer choices. Answer keys are also included. Where appropriate, graphic organizers are also provided.

    Although most of the reading passages are targeted to a 4th grade reading level, the stories are appropriate for learners of any age, from 3rd grade and up.

    The holidays included are: Hispanic Heritage Month, Columbus Day, Halloween, Diwali, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King Day, Chinese New Year, Black History Month, Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day, Women’s History Month, St. Patrick’s Day, April Fool’s Day, Easter, Earth Day, Cinco de Mayo, Ramadan and Eid, Memorial Day.
