Reading Comprehension Choice Boards | Nonfiction Reading Menus Print & Digital

Reading Menus provide students with a variety of fun and engaging reading tasks that go beyond traditional comprehension questions.

Assign these menus for homework, book clubs, literacy centers, or enrichment for early finishers.

This resource includes 15 choice boards that can be used with any nonfiction text. There are reading menus for the following reading strategies and skills:

8. Compare & Contrast
9. Fact & Opinion

11. Making Inferences

Each menu includes a variety of engaging tasks that will encourage students to think outside the box when responding to texts.

This resource comes in two different formats:

1. Printable Menus: These can be copied for each student or they can be laminated for repeated use. Please note that the printable menus are NOT EDITABLE.
2. Digital Menus: These are available in both Google Slides and PowerPoint. The tasks and task titles ARE EDITABLE with these digital versions.

**A BLANK TEMPLATE is also included with the digital versions, so that you can create reading menus of your own. These would be great for novel studies!
