Description of Plays and Comprehension Activities:
Winter: (2 Plays)
-“Getting Ready”: The penguin and the snowman get ready very differently for the snow. They have to find a way to compromise.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will practice writing the different steps that snowman goes through to get ready.

-“The Goofy Gingerbread Man”: The Gingerbread man learns very quickly that it is easier to just tell the truth when the cow wants to eat him.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will work on the setting of the story by designing where they think this story takes place.

-"The Broken Sleigh"- Santa has some pretty silly ideas to fix his sleigh. The Little Elf has to set him straight!
-Comprehension Activity- Students will write a story about what they would get Santa for Christmas.
