Description of Plays and Comprehension Activities:
-“The Big Plan”: The turkeys just found out that they are the main dish at Thanksgiving dinner. They have to find a way to make it to next season.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will design a costume for the turkey and write about how they are going to keep him safe.
-“The Thanksgiving Feast”: The corn and the pie each think they are the best food at the Thanksgiving table. In the end, they decide there is a place for both of them.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will draw pictures of their favorite foods and make a list of those items.
