The Witch Who Nicked Happiness is a funny fairy tale stage script for young performers. When Witch Fisticuffs becomes angry with a town for rejecting her, everyone suddenly feels very sad. A volunteer is needed to find the Witch and ask her to release the spell. But does the spell really exist, and is everything as it seems? This is a great one act play that would provide an excellent introduction to theatre arts for some students who are new to performing. It also prompts discussions about what makes us happy and who is really responsible for out happiness?

This script includes fabulous full production notes, with ideas for staging, props and furniture, lighting, sound effects, any music and some brilliant detailed suggestions for costumes. It also contains great follow-on activities covering story, characters, theme, script layout and performance-related tasks for further work in the classroom or drama studio.

If you are giving a performance of this play to an audience, regardless of whether you charge admission or not, you must purchase the appropriate Performance Rights License, available in this store.
