    Description

This "I Have, Who Has? game is aligned to the Read Well I program. There is an "I Have, Who Has?" game for every Read Well 1 Unit.

This bundle of Read Well 1 Aligned Literacy Centers is the perfect companion for any K, 1st or 2nd grade classroom that uses Read Well 1 as a Core or Tier 2 or 3 reading program. This set of Read Well 1 aligned fluency games and activities is packed full of word searches, fluency games, card games and more! This Read Well 1 Resource Bundle is great for literacy centers, extra practice, and additional homework.

Differentiating practice in the Read Well 1 program is THEY KEY to avoiding gaps within your reading groups i.e., where some students are far ahead or behind others.

This packet of "I Have, Who Has?" games can be used in several ways to make sure your lowest students get extra practice while keeping your higher students engaged in material aligned to Read Well 1:

    • Alphabetize the deck
    • Play alone and time yourself; see if you can beat your best time
    • Play in partners
    • Play in small groups

You can also use this game as a whole class reward once everyone has passed their end-of-unit test!

I love to use this “I Have, Who Has?” card game at our back-to-school night and our school’s annual Family Game Night!

    Who is the game for?

1st grade is the best bet.

However, some kinders could play with the lower decks (I-9).

2nd graders who need some review are great candidates for the higher decks.

See below for additional notes on who this game is intended for.

Any of the "I Have, Who Has?" games would be ideal for a 1st or 2nd grade classroom. Across all games there are 383 Fry Words.

    Brain Growth

Playing games relaxes the brain and makes it open to learning.

Playing reading fluency games is a great way to stimulate the brain's reward system and make reading fun.

I have tried to make sure that every word in Read Well 1 is in at least one of the decks.
