Read, Research, & Write - Informational Text and Expository Writing

Informational Text / Expository Writing:
Read, Research, & Write, is a product that I created with the purpose of students doing research.

This product includes:
*I LOVE to Learn About... Templates (girl, boy, blank) Students are to use these templates to brainstorm and list topics that interest them.

*Graphic Organizers -
Students are to use these templates to gather information about the topic that they have chosen to research.

*A Research Project: All About... Book Templates -
This product includes a variety of templates that can be used for classroom research. These templates provide drawing spaces for students to draw, print out, or cut and glue (from magazines) pictures of the topic that they are researching. Writing spaces are provided for students to tell about interesting information that they have collected.

The “BOOK” templates include:
Cover, All About the Author, Table of Contents, variety of templates to tell about their topic, Glossary, “Picture” Glossary, Bibliography / Resources Cited pages, Book Summary, and Index

I have used these pages with my class. This product allows for the students to be creative while they create a book of their own. Students OWN their topic because they have become experts about a topic that they LOVE!
