Description

I hope you enjoy using this unit as I do in my own personal classroom.

As a teacher, I noticed a lot of my students have the same problem: forming letters correctly. I created this unit in hopes to give students a visual to help them be more successful.

The top line I refer to as the cloud line, the middle line as the rain line (It looks like rain falling), and the bottom line as the ground line.

On the first say we discuss how the rain falls. It starts in the clouds, falls, and hits the ground. The same way our letters are formed. They start at the top and “fall” down to the ground.
We also discuss how the rain doesn’t float in the air, it does fall and touch the ground. (Sometimes the rain sinks past the ground for some letters.)
