Description

Are you searching for a fun lab to motivate your students? Here it is. This experiment is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine or LGBT History Month

The objective of the color-changing flower experiment is flowers absorb water through their roots (or the stem in this experiment) and draw it up through the stem and into the petals using capillary action. This experiment creates a fantastic visual result for how plants drink water. After all, your students are so used to water going down

In this lesson, your students will discover how a flower will change color when placed in the colored water.

The lab is written twice so pick which one will be best suited for your students
