This set of large stickers-like round watercolor flashcards were born out of radical love.

These affirmations are here to empower you, to encourage you to set boundaries and to remind you of your worth and the light you put out in this world. 

The set was created under a decolonial prism that promotes mental health, mindfulness, self-care as activism. 

My goal was to divert from the sort of affirmations that elevate toxic positive thinking and growth mindset while gaslighting the struggles which we, as human beings, experience and battle in day to day life.  

I have seen a lot of that happening at schools and I believe there needs to be a deep understanding about trauma and development in order to create affirmations that have the potential to ignite change beyond the parroting and repetition. 

They are not your typical affirmations full of toxic positivity because they were created with a humanized lens by an educator (tu camarada here!) who endured the burnout that comes from toxic school environments. 

The set has 40 wonderfully unique round cards, all unique and with a meaningful message for those in the trenches plus one bonus empty card so you can write your own affirmation. 

They make a perfect gift to yourself or to others. 

They are wonderful for activities of bonding, affinity groups or to be used as an oracle or reminders. 

Print them in cardstock or artsy paper or laminate them for a polished look.
