Description

For more than a hundred Christmases, the nutcracker has been one of our most beloved Yuletide characters. His touching story is an enchanting one for children and adults alike, filling us with a sense of wonder and excitement.

These plans include a list of materials, procedures, guides for design, pictures, student performance indicators, signs for bulletin board display, extension activities, rubric, holiday greetings, and tons of fun and engagement!

Students will use art, math, reading, language arts, history, design, drama, and dance. This is one of my class favorites! It’s very nice to start this before attending the Nutcracker Suite on stage, then going back to finish their soldiers. It adds an excitement and engagement I can’t do alone!
