This product is designed to help upper elementary students practice using the RACE writing strategy. There are 30 pre-made prompts ready to use with editable sentence starters. This product works well to introduce, review, or practice the RACE writing strategy. Each prompt has a link to an article on Wonderopolis.org. This site is free and does not require a login. It has many non-fiction, kid friendly articles to read or listen to for free. There are 30 topics and 2 different types of worksheets per topic to differentiate for students or scaffold RACE strategy (total of 60 worksheets).
