Quote of the Day Journal with QUOTES BUNDLE!

As I always state, I am a mandated reporter and should you share anything that I feel could be harm to you or someone else then I must report it!

However, I have students open up to me in these journals, I've seen students truly feel a weight lifted off their shoulders once they have journaled at the start of the period, and get creative with their writing.

I use this as my "Do Now" for every lesson in my Mental/ Emotional Health Unit. Reason be, I use this as a teachable moment that we can journal daily with a prompt or without a prompt. It works on mindfulness and techniques to cope with our stressors. As we go through the curriculum, Stress Management is a topic that we spend a lot of time on. It is SO CRUCIAL we are giving our students the TOOLS and SKILLS to cope with their stressors.

As we teach and educate our students on Stress Management, it is important we are creating a skill-based activity so they can practice in the classroom and feel confident to do it on their own.

With "Quote of the Day" the idea of this is to take a quote, and think about what does this mean and how could they use this quote in their own life. Letting this be a driving force to the rest of their day, to reset, and/or make this a learning moment for anything that comes their way.
