Description

Works well for Distance Learning! Bell ringer with a positive quote of the day for students to respond to. This digital resource in Google Slides allows students to choose a prewrite template to fit their response to a quote a day. Students write a paragraph in response to a quote each day. Great Bellringer / Do Now activity for the beginning of class.

This resource contains:

*a teacher download with tips and instructions.

This download contains three simple printable pages for error analysis and small group intervention planning.

*a Google Form for assessment

*a Google Slides resource for each of your students

*an ink saving pdf with 180 quotes to be used for printing or displaying on an interactive white board.

The student Google Slides resource contains:

Page 2: Directions Explains how to choose a prewrite and paste it before the quote.

Page 3-6: Prewrite Templates

Get to know your students writing abilities and help them develop their voice with these daily writing prompts. These would be a great way to start your day with inspirational quotes. Consider displaying the quote on an interactive white board as students enter.

The expectations for the amount of writing can be differentiated based on the ability of the students.
