Description

Everything you need to launch experiment writing about gasses and liquids changing in your classroom with a simple and engaging experiment! All you need are mini soda bottles, balloons, and Pop Rocks.

How to Use:

In our third grade classroom, we had been studying states of matter. I bought each student a mini soda bottle of a variety of sodas. Each student used a funnel to fill the balloons with Pop Rocks before attaching them to the open mouth of the soda bottle. At the same time, we all turned the balloon right side up and dumped the Pop Rocks into the soda. Then, we observed the balloons filling with gas!

You can definitely do this experiment as a demonstration with one larger soda bottle instead.
